The journey began in 1995 under the leadership of Founder-Chairman Mr. Sanjay Sinha, with the establishment of the Sinha Group as an engineering-led business focused on precision components and solutions for the railway sector. Working within the demanding standards of Indian Railways established a culture in which quality, technical discipline and dependable delivery were non-negotiable.

As technical capabilities expanded, the organisation moved beyond manufacturing into civil construction, railway infrastructure, project execution and specialised engineering assignments.

Its project experience includes major railway and infrastructure works in India, including engagement with the New Wheel Factory at New Katni, together with specialised railway systems and testing infrastructure.

Through international technology partnerships, the group has also been associated with advanced railway projects such as the Vande Bharat Testing Bench at Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli, as well as railway simulation and testing solutions supporting the evolution of modern rail mobility.

In 2020, the next generation carried the Sinha Group legacy forward through the evolution of Motus Group — a diversified enterprise created for a rapidly changing business environment while preserving the values of integrity, quality and excellence.

The group began developing specialised businesses across infrastructure, technology, hospitality, international trade and real estate, each with its own focus but connected by a common philosophy: build strong capabilities, execute responsibly and create long-term value.

Building on the foundation established by Founder-Chairman Mr. Sanjay Sinha, the next phase of growth is shaped by Raunak Sinha, Chief Executive Officer, and Roshan Sinha, Managing Director, who bring complementary perspectives to the group's future.

Raunak Sinha focuses on strategic growth, project execution, infrastructure, railway-related businesses, international trade and operational development. Roshan Sinha brings an internationally oriented and technology-led perspective across real estate, analytics, AI, sustainability, branding and future-oriented business development.

The group's flagship real-estate vision is taking shape at Khopoli, Maharashtra, along the Mumbai-Pune growth corridor — across 20.80 acres in Durshet, Khalapur, Raigad — near Khopoli, Maharashtra.
